Lists

In 48 hours we’ll be on a plane, headed to India.  The last few weeks have been a blur of packing, visiting, endless errands, and a thousand administrative details.  I’m living off a clipboard that contains (as of this morning) seven pages of lists, plus additional lists scribbled yesterday on an old envelope, a tiny piece of note paper, and a rumpled page snatched from the recycling bin.  That’s ten lists altogether.  Yes, there are repeat items appearing on multiple lists, an indication of the semi-confused state of my busy brain.
