David writes:
Here are some snapshots of the guest house where we are staying, on the third floor of the church office annex. We are deeply grateful to the pastors and generous congregation of this church for inviting two strangers from India to take up residence here. When we left India we were hoping for a retreat-style place to spend our two months outside of India. The Lord knew what we needed.
This furnished facility is modern and comfortable, with a small window AC in the sleeping room and a kitchen area with all the necessary utensils and dishes. Chairs and tables (and a good Internet connection) make it easy to work on the computer work and to study, and a sliding door leads outside to the balcony where we can enjoy evening breezes and a beautiful view. Jesus has far exceeded our expectations!!
We are a ten minute walk to ocean. The beach here is not suitable for swimming (too many rocks), but white waves crash on the rocks and each evening we watch the sun sink into the Indian Ocean.
